The Verdict: 4.9/5 Stars
Adios Pest Control is widely considered the top “General Pest” company in Chula Vista. Unlike the corporate giants that treat you like a number, Adios is praised for communication (text updates) and speed. They are our #1 recommendation for Bee Hive Removal in neighborhoods like Rancho Del Rey and handle general ants and spiders with ease.
- Communication: Techs like Hugo text before arrival. No waiting around.
- Bee Experts: One of the few licensed companies that handle aggressive hives.
- Pricing: Competitive rates with no hidden corporate fees.
- Structural Repair: They kill bugs, but they don’t rebuild termite-damaged wood.
- Capacity: As a popular local team, same-day slots go fast.
- Office Tech: Online portal is less advanced than Terminix/Orkin.
1. The Bee Removal Specialists
In Chula Vista, bees love the Pepper Trees and hollow walls of older homes. Most pest companies are scared of bees. Adios embraces it. They offer both live relocation (when possible) and extermination for aggressive hives. If you hear buzzing in your walls, Adios is the specialist to call.
2. Adios Pricing (2026 Estimates)
Adios keeps pricing simple. They don’t usually require aggressive 2-year contracts like some national brands.
| Service | Estimated Cost | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Initial Clean-Out | $125 – $200 | Includes de-webbing eaves. |
| Bi-Monthly Service | $75 – $95 / visit | Standard maintenance plan. |
| Bee/Hive Removal | $250 – $600+ | Depends on height and location (e.g., inside wall vs. tree). |
3. Real Customer Feedback (2024-2025 Data)
We analyzed over 100 recent reviews for their Chula Vista routes.
“Hugo is the Man”
Technician Hugo is a local celebrity in the reviews. Customers consistently mention that he “texts back even on weekends” and “explains the process clearly.” This level of personal communication is rare in the industry.
The “Termite Repair” Gap
While they are great at treating termites, they don’t specialize in replacing the wood.

Frequently Asked Questions About Adios Pest Control
Does Adios remove Bee Hives in Chula Vista?
Yes, this is a core specialty. They handle everything from scout bees looking for a home to established hives inside walls. Pricing depends on the difficulty of access.
Is their spray safe for pets?
Yes. Adios technicians typically use products that are safe for pets once dry. They are known for being very communicative about letting you know exactly when it is safe to let the dogs back out.
Do they offer Termite Tenting?
They offer termite treatments, but for massive whole-structure fumigation (tenting), they sometimes sub-contract or refer out. For localized “spot treatments,” they are excellent.
